Our two secluded bush camps, Jackalskraal and Hopetown, each accommodate 12 and 8 guests respectively. Jackalskraal, the more established of the two, is a beautiful grassed oasis with fantastic views over a flat plain and waterpan. With 24 hour electricity and Wifi the camp is modern and comfortable. Our newly constructed Hopetown camp has a more remote bush feel with no electricity (powered by gas and generator). An elegant conformation of rondavel style chalets, lapa and boma also overlooking a waterpan. A dream escape from the rat race of city life.
All chalets in both camps comfortably contain two single beds with fresh 100% cotton linen and a desk and chairs. Each ensuite bathroom has hot showers and a window view into the bush.
A large communal area hosts a kitchen, lounge, dining room and bar. We are fully equipped in both camps to handle either self-catering or fully-catered-for guests, depending on requirements.
Outside, the lapa is a central focus of camp life, providing cool shade to soak up the sounds and sights of the African bush. And of course, no African night is complete without a flickering fire around which to gather in the boma and share stories of the day’s safari.
